It's been quite some time since we last updated this blog. We've been too busy for the past couple of months. Right after the MOE's announcement on the minimum age of the pre-school and primary 1, there is suddenly a flow of students enrolling in the kindergarten in the 3rd term (June) and 4th term (Aug). Although busy with new intakes etc, the centre has non-stop activities done for the kids.
Right after Sports Day in May, we celebrated Teachers' Day. The children came in their party attire and brought special food to share with teachers and friends.
The children danced with the teachers and friends. We all had a great time. The teachers were also overwhelmed to receive thoughtful gifts from the students. Here's some of the presents that we got.
A coupe of weeks after that, we went to Sri KDU School to participate in a spelling competition. We chose 6 best spellers from our Pre School 3.
Our 'creme de la creme'...Sophia, Tanis, Edwin, Darwish, Bi Jue, Theja. They tried really hard. Weeks of learning almost 100 spelling words! Although they didn't win, the great experience they had will surely be remembered for the rest of their life.
The six students with the Principal and Teacher Michelle.
We are now busy practicing for the concert which will be in October. We'll be updating this blog again soon with some birthday celebrations in Q-dees. Meanwhile, we would like to wish all our Muslim parents "Selamat Berpuasa".

HIP HIP! HOORAY!
Sports Day 2010 is over. Still feeling the heat, though. Some of the teachers are still having body aches. The Principal, however, still remain strong and healthy after all those running and jumping around the school field..... under the hot sun!
We started the Sports Day with the March Past at 8.30am. Then we sing Negaraku, Q-dees Song and FLIPtech song.
The Flag bearers. Tanis with the Malaysian flag.
Aqila Sofea holds the Selangor flag and Myra Chin carries the Q-dees flag.
The Rukunegara was done by Edwin Foong. Bravo Edwin!
Yau Bi Jue did the Sports Pledge in Bahasa Malaysia splendidly.
Diveshwar did the Sports Pledge in English. Well done.
And Puteri Izzabella Yeo did the Sports Pledge in Mandarin brilliantly.
The kids performed their pom pom dance.
Gym Performance....
And they all participated in the sports events....
We are the champion! The kids and their trophies...
We hope everyone who came to our sports day enjoyed themselves and had a great family bonding time. Although the sports day is over, Q-dees Kota Kemuning will continue with its normal sports activities at the kindie. HEALTHY BODY, HEALTHY MIND!

CHILDREN'S FUN TIME WITH VITAGEN
A couple of weeks ago the people from vitagen came to our school...
These lovely ladies came to tell stories of how to love your tummy...
Wow! with all the setting up of their equipment etc etc etc... the kids just couldn't concentrate on their lessons...So we gather them all in front of this projector...and the two lovely ladies started to tell stories about how to love your tummy....
They enjoyed the story-telling...and the excercising...
and the dancing...
and after that they get to see.............
Captain V!!!! I thought the little ones will cry when they see this creature.... but they know captain Q-dees very well from our Fliptech@Q programme. So Captain V is no alien to them....In fact.... we had to protect Captain V from the kids!!!!
Thank you to Vitagen for coming and entertain our kids. The kids were so happy when they get to bring home these.....
