SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI AND SELAMAT MENYAMBUT HARI MERDAKA

The kindergarten is closed for a week from 27/8/2011 to 4/9/2011. We will re-open on 5/9/2011 (Monday). On behalf of the staff and management of Q-dees Kota Kemuning, we would like to wish all our Muslim students and their family 'Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Maaf Zahir dan Batin.'

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

One month passed by smoothly in Q-dees Kota Kemuning. All the kids are settling down well and enjoying their classes. Some of these 4 year old kids cried during the first couple of weeks. Now they are all happy and having a great time in school.

They are now friends.....Hayden, Ryan, Reena, Jacob, Xi Qing, and Zara from QL1.


Our five year olds are also having a great time. More writing, more counting, more reading, more fun!

Snack time is something to look forward to in this school! In picture above, our QL2 students Khyra, Kylie, Dani, Xi Qing, Ray Liang, Yana, Adriana, Thivyan, Alysia and Aniq, enjoying snack time. You can see the computer running the snack time song.  In Q-dees, we have songs for everything that we do, even snack time!


This year, our six year old classes are full! Look at these QL3 students. They are very confident and smart.

It's been a great month with lots of fun time with the students. We'll be taking a break for a week for the Chinese New Year holidays. The school will close from 31 Jan 2011 to 4 Feb 2011. However, the office will still be opened from 8am - 5pm on 31 Jan 2011 and 1 Feb 2011. We would like to wish all our Chinese students and their family 'GONG XI FA CAI'.  Happy holidays to all!

BACK TO SCHOOL AGAIN!

School will start next week! The teachers and staff of Q-dees Kota Kemuning are all prepared to welcome the kids to school. Take note of our orientation days and time:

School hours during the orientation week is from 8.30am - 10.30am.
From 10 January 2011 onwards, school hours will be from 8.00am - 12.00 noon.

School Holiday Activities

Concert and Graduation is now over. We certainly hope all parents had a great time during the concert. The kids did their year-end assessment last week and this week. We still have another week of school till 26 November 2010. We will speed up on the reading. All our six year old students are able to read. They are well prepared for Standard 1 next year and we are really proud of their achievement!

During the school holidays, we have additional programme for the kids ages 4 - 6. Schedule is as follows:

The school holiday programme are also opened to non-qdees kids. Snacks will be provided. Those interested may call the principal to book for a place.

Q-dees Kota Kemuning Annual Concert 2010

Our annual concert and graduation will be this Saturday, 30 October 2010 at the Summit Auditorium, USJ. At last, after months of enthusiasm, the kids can now show off their talent to their parents.

This Saturday, please send your child to school at 12.00 noon wearing the concert costume provided (will be given to your child by Thursday). Make sure he/she had his/her lunch before they come to school. The bus will depart from the school at around 12.45pm. Parents may go to the Summit Auditorium, USJ (map enclosed in the communication book) by 3.00pm. You may bring everyone at home, grandparents, neighbours, friends, etc... to enjoy this concert. See you there!
